Jackie and Kim are able to take their swimming passion forward, with attention to detail, to give individual swimmers the opportunity to develop their stroke and grow in confidence – both within the swimming environment and socially. We welcome swimmers locally and from surrounding villages.
At the end of each term we hold a Presentation Swim. This is warmly attended by all members and their families to come together and shown off their newly acquired stroke, stamina and confidence. At these events we present the Most Improved Boy and Girl also nominating another swimmer who we jointly feel needs recognition.
We keep our class sizes small to enhance learning enabling each swimmer to achieve to the best of their potential.
When the ASA Stage lessons are completed, you are invited to attend one of the training sessions. In these we continue to develop stroke technique, diving & turns, and to become a mature swimmer.
Throughout the term we work towards PB’s and look forward to running our first in-house Gala (date to be confirmed) as well as building relations with other local Devon swimming clubs, which will enable our swimmers to become more involved and gain experience in the competitive world with the support of our ASA mentor.
